Bonalba sits above the Mediterranean in Mutxamel, a short drive from Alicante and close enough to San Juan beach to make it an easy add-on to a coastal stay. Ramón Espinosa designed the course, working ridges and five lakes into a layout that changes character noticeably between the two halves of the round.
The front nine leans on the short game, with a technical approach into the greens that rewards touch over power. The back nine flips the emphasis: from the 12th onward, the driver becomes decisive, and placing the ball off the tee matters as much as anything you do once you're on the fairway. Bunkers and undulating greens keep both halves honest, and the mix of Mediterranean pine and palm gives the course a settled, mature feel throughout.
A driving range, practice academy and clubhouse restaurant sit close to the course, with the wider resort offering a proper base for a longer stay. Book Bonalba for a genuinely two-sided test just minutes from the Alicante coast.

Excellent service at the restaurant but the caddie master was not friendly at all. He should be send to some basic customer service course, didn't have any idea what is good or even decent customer service.
The course itself was in good condition and nice course.

Very good golf course but the greens need a bit of work on them.
Disappointed with the restaurant part arrived in after the golf and they had stopped serving food at 4.30pm
