La Manga Club Resort West

La Manga Club West is the newest and most technical of the resort's three championship courses, a Dave Thomas design that began as nine holes in 1986 before growing into a full eighteen in 1996. Where North and South play through open, palm-lined terrain, West is genuinely different: a tree-lined, parkland-style course carved into wooded hills.

Narrow fairways and the resort's natural ravines, known locally as barrancas, demand precision from the very first tee. The front nine is about placement, testing whether you can keep the ball in play through tighter corridors of trees, while the back nine turns more mountainous and tactical, rewarding careful club selection over raw power. It's a course that rewards patience and course management, and one that regulars often rate as the most rewarding challenge of La Manga's three.
