Las Llanas S.L. Ctra. Fresno Golf Course

Las Llanás lies in Grajera, a small Segovian village some 110 kilometres north of Madrid, close to Riaza, Sepúlveda and the ''La Pinilla'' ski resort. Opened in 2006 to a design by Stirling & Martin, the course sits in open countryside with clear views across the Sierra de Madrid.

Nine holes play to a par of 35 over almost 3,000 metres, laid out across flat, easy-walking terrain with wide fairways and generous greens. Two par 3s and a par 5 round out half a dozen par 4s, and while the going is comfortable for players of any level, bunkers and lakes add a genuine test around several holes, the 6th among them.

The clubhouse sits at the highest point of the course, with a driving range, putting green and golf academy alongside changing rooms, trolley and buggy hire, and a shop. A restaurant sits close by in the village. It's a relaxed, well-kept course worth building into a Madrid-area golf break.
