Entrepinos Golf Course

Entrepinos sits on the left bank of the Pisuerga, wrapped in pine forest a few kilometres from the historic town of Simancas and twelve from Valladolid. Opened in 1990, it is the oldest course in Castilla y León, designed by Manuel Piñero, one of Spain's best-known Ryder Cup golfers.

Eighteen holes run in a single line along the riverbank, playing to a par of 69 over more than 5,000 metres: three par 5s, nine par 4s and six tight par 3s. Out-of-bounds and the river itself are constant companions, so precision matters more than power, and a controlled tee shot pays off more often than a long one.

Beyond the course, Entrepinos runs as a fuller sports club than most: a driving range, golf academy, tennis and padel courts and a pool sit alongside the clubhouse restaurant. It's a well-run, well-maintained course with real history behind it, and one worth booking early on a Valladolid golf break.
