Navaluenga Golf Course

Navaluenga Golf Course opened in 2001 as the second public golf course built in Ávila province, designed by Manuel Piñero and set within the Navaluenga dehesa, hugging the Río Alberche with the Sierra de Gredos rising behind it. Nine holes across thirty hectares of holm oak, gall oak, pine, and olive, this is genuine, unpretentious golf in one of the region's most scenic corners.

The course plays short and narrow, which makes it deceptively demanding rather than simply easy. The first five holes bring water heavily into play, and the rough on either side of the fairways grows tall enough to punish anything ambitious. This is a technical test disguised as a gentle round, well suited to families and juniors but sharp enough to catch out anyone playing carelessly.
