Villaitana Levante forms one half of the Meliá Villaitana resort's golf offering, laid out on high ground above Benidorm with the Mediterranean and the Sierra de Finestrat both in view. Villaitana Poniente is the shorter of the two Nicklaus Design courses at the Meliá Villaitana resort above Benidorm, laid out on a hillside within a Mediterranean pine forest. At an executive par 62, it trades length for a setting that keeps both the sea and the surrounding mountains in view for most of the round. Shorter does not mean easier. The course demands sharp iron play and a confident short game rather than raw distance, and while high and medium handicappers will find plenty of workable options from the tee, low handicappers face a genuine test of precision throughout.
