La Morgal Golf Course

La Morgal Golf Course sits at the geographic heart of Asturias, seven kilometres from Oviedo and eighteen from Gijón, as part of a wider sports complex that also includes an aerodrome and the Fernando Alonso karting circuit. What opened in 1996 as a nine-hole course has grown steadily since, expanding significantly in 2012 and refining its routing again in 2020.

Today it plays a full 18 holes at par 73, laid out to be comfortable to walk and genuinely enjoyable at every level, while still rewarding bigger hitters willing to take on some risk. The course is playable 365 days a year, and Asturias's largest practice facility sits alongside it, with more than 40,000 square metres of grass tees for players looking to sharpen their game before heading out.
