La Torre Golf Course
La Torre is a Nicklaus Design course in Murcia, part of the original Nicklaus Golf Trail built through the Polaris World developments in the mid-2000s. At par 68 it's the shortest course on that trail, but shortness here means precision, not an easy ride.
Large bunkers line fairways that look wider than they play, and the greens are well enough defended that reaching them in regulation takes real thought rather than raw distance. Six par-3 holes give the round its identity, each one a genuine test in its own right, and stacking six of them into eighteen holes makes for a course that keeps you honest from the first tee. It suits mid to high handicappers looking for a fair fight, while low handicappers still need to manage their game carefully to card a good score.

Nice layout with lots of carries over water. Not as well maintained as other courses in the area.

There seems to have been a few closures to the clubhouse building and surrounding areas which means trying to find the starter box to check in etc was difficult. It is not sign posted in any way once you get to the general area of the course. Regarding the course itself, it is well laid out but are some long walks between holes. Sign posts to guide you off the green to the next tee is geared up for carts on the cart path rather than walkers leaving the green. We had a few misturns etc until we found a sign. Some fairways at the beginning of the round were a bit worn and on the whole, most of the greens were bumpy.

Average course, poor facilities, no club house to speak of. Would not go back again.

The Club seems to be run down a bit, there is no Club House or parking place. Not too much investment is put into maintenance.
Tee Times reply: It is true that the player may find the social club building a little deteriorated. We are very sorry for that feedback, but it belongs to another company that is not GNK Golf, which owns the golf course.
For this reason and the fact that the golf reception is in a cabin on tee 1, it may have made that impression on your client. We are sorry and we hope soon we will have our own social club building.
La Torre golf resort has numerous free parking spaces near the access to the golf course, it is true that depending on the season and the time you arrive it may be more or less busy, but we have more than 100 spaces around the course.

Enjoyable round with some interesting holes. A busy course that was a bit worn and scruffy in places, but generally good. Pace of play was good at just over 4 hours for a four ball.
