Mondariz Golf Course

Mondariz Golf Course sits in the Tea river valley as part of the historic Balneario de Mondariz, a spa resort founded in 1873 by brothers Enrique and Ramón Peinador that remains one of Galicia's original thermal destinations. Golf here comes paired with genuine heritage, not just scenery.

Álvaro Arana designed the par 71 course, opening it in 2000 across around 50 hectares of hilly, tree-framed terrain. Mature woodland lines the fairways throughout, and the greens, large, fast, and well-guarded by bunkers, demand real precision on the approach. It's a course that rewards careful course management without punishing the occasional loose shot, making it enjoyable across a wide range of handicaps.
