Roda Golf Course
Roda sits within easy reach of the Mar Menor near San Javier, a Dave Thomas design that opened in 2005 and became the first course in the Murcia region to earn ISO 14001 environmental certification. Lush, rolling fairways run between three large lakes, with palm trees and colourful planting giving the course a genuinely attractive look from the first tee.
Strategically placed bunkers and undulating greens keep the round honest without ever feeling unfair, and the flat terrain makes for comfortable walking throughout. Für uns als Golfgruppe war Roda Golf der ideale Einstieg in die Golfwoche: Sehr gepflegter und sehr gut organisierter Club. Die Runde konnte gut ohne Cart bewältigt werden. Die Runde war durchaus anspruchsvoll, aber fair spielbar für alle nach Hcp zugelassenen Spielstärken. Die Fairways wiesen einige Schadstellen auf, aber die Grüns waren gut. Die Pinpositions führten zu einigen Putts mehr als erwartet.

1. I recommend electric trolleys even if the course is flat. And leave gaps on the cart path borders to walk through with trolleys.

Course was in immaculate condition. Only downside is, that many holes have a lot of noise from a nearby motorway.
